It's so funny to think about where I thought I would be at this point in my life. My elementary aged self thought by the time I was twenty-one I would be living in New York City working either as a model (lol) or at a fashion magazine. If that wasn't my fate then I would settle for living in California working as an actress and married to Paul Walker (R.I.P - I'm still sad about it) or Mark Wahlberg.
I am glad that what I thought would be the perfect life, isn't my life today. I am so proud of the accomplishments that I have made and that Bryan and I have made together. When we got married I was already imagining what our lives would be like together in one, five, ten, even twenty years. I came to realize how much time I would spend day-dreaming about the future when I should be enjoying everything amazing and beautiful about right now. Once I started being present and living in the moment, I actually noticed that time started moving slower when before it felt like it was flying by.
So this is just a short and sweet reminder to my lovely friends and readers that even though right now might not be "ideal" try to find beauty in the current moment.
One a much lighter note, I adore these outfits from Madewell. They are so beautifully made and so comfortable. So obviously we had to shoot them in one of the most beautiful places in New Mexico, White Sands National Monument. If you have never been here, you need to make a trip. It's definitely one the most unique and magical places I have been, it feels like you're on another plant. It's also super strange because it looks like snow. I can't wait to go back, but ill be bringing a sled with me next time.
I have a few bucket list things I want to do this summer. What are your plans for spring/summer?
